Six Systems.
One Seamless Model.
Relaef is not a laundry service with a tech layer on top. It is a fully managed linen system — where RFID tracking, clinical washing, QR verification, and 48-hour logistics are designed from the ground up to work as one. Here is every phase, explained in full.
From onboarding to audit trail
Phase 01
Onboarding & PAR Setup
Before your first delivery, we audit your property and build a linen PAR tailored to your occupancy pattern.
We visit your hotel, count your rooms and bed configurations, and calculate the correct PAR — typically 3.5 sets per bed. This accounts for sets in use, sets being washed, and a safety buffer for occupancy spikes. Relaef owns and supplies all the stock. You invest nothing.
Outputs from this phase
- Room-by-room linen spec
- PAR count and buffer calculation
- Delivery schedule agreed
- First batch delivered within 72 hours
Phase 02
RFID Tagging at Source
Every piece of linen is fitted with a passive UHF RFID chip before it reaches your hotel.
Each bedsheet, pillowcase, duvet cover, and towel is stitched with an ISO 18000-6C compliant RFID chip at the point of manufacture or entry into the Relaef system. The chip survives 200+ industrial wash cycles at 88–92°C. It requires no battery and no maintenance — and it costs your hotel nothing.
Outputs from this phase
- Unique chip ID per piece
- Linked to property, room, and PAR slot
- Scan-readable at every handoff
- No hardware or readers at your hotel
Phase 03
Sealed Collection
Used linen is bagged at the bedside, RFID-scanned, and manifested before it leaves your property.
Our logistics partner collects used linen in sealed bags — sealed at the room level, not at a corridor cart. Each bag is RFID-scanned at pickup against the expected piece count from the last delivery manifest. Discrepancies are flagged before the van leaves your driveway. The collection timestamp becomes the first entry in the batch's audit trail.
Outputs from this phase
- Sealed bag per room or floor
- RFID scan at pickup
- Digital collection manifest
- Discrepancies flagged in real time
Phase 04
Clinical Wash at 88–92°C
Every piece is washed at temperatures that eliminate MRSA, dermatophytes, and dust-mite allergens — no exceptions.
Linen enters a six-step process: enzyme pre-soak at 60°C, main wash at 88–92°C (above the WHO's 60°C thermal disinfection threshold), ozone-assisted rinse (replaces chlorine bleach), pH-balanced finish at 6.5, industrial drying, and QR seal assignment. Wash temperature, cycle duration, and detergent batch are logged automatically by the washer's sensor system.
Outputs from this phase
- 88–92°C peak wash temperature
- Ozone rinse — zero chlorine residue
- pH 6.5 finish (skin-neutral)
- 99.9% pathogen elimination
Phase 05
QR Hygiene Seal Assignment
Every washed batch receives a unique QR hygiene seal linking the physical linen to its digital wash record.
After washing and drying, each batch is vacuum-sealed and tagged with a QR code. Scanning it with any smartphone camera opens a live safety report showing the wash timestamp, temperature achieved, batch ID, RFID piece count, and property assignment. The seal is physical evidence — not a marketing claim. Guests can verify it before they sleep.
Outputs from this phase
- Unique QR per batch
- Live guest-accessible safety report
- Linked to batch ID and RFID manifest
- Timestamp, temperature, piece count confirmed
Phase 06
Delivery, Manifest & Audit Trail
Fresh linen is delivered to your property with a digital manifest. Every cycle adds to a 24-month searchable audit trail.
Delivery is made within 48 hours of collection. The delivery partner presents a digital manifest — piece count, batch ID, wash timestamps, and a sign-off link. The hotel manager confirms receipt on a mobile-friendly screen. This creates the final entry in the cycle's audit trail. Operators can search the 24-month log by date, property, room, or batch ID at any time.
Outputs from this phase
- 48-hour door-to-door turnaround
- Digital delivery manifest and sign-off
- 24-month searchable audit log
- Export-ready for compliance or inspection
Why the model is built this way
Every aspect of the Relaef system was designed around a specific constraint or failure mode in the existing Indian hotel linen market.
We own the inventory
Relaef owns every linen piece. This aligns our incentives with yours — we want our stock to last, so we wash it right. You never buy or replace stock.
Pay only for occupied beds
You are billed at ₹39 per occupied bed, per night. Empty rooms cost nothing. This means your linen cost moves with your revenue, not against it.
Every claim is verifiable
We don't ask you to trust us. Every hygiene claim — temperature, timestamp, piece count — is in the scan log and the QR safety report. You can pull any record within seconds.
One system from supply to delivery
RFID, clinical wash, QR seals, manifests, and billing are a single integrated system — not six separate vendors. There is one point of contact, one invoice, and one standard.
